A Woman's Power |
Women, especially powerful women scare men and society. When a woman scares those who feel inferior to her, she is told to be quiet and calm down and essentially be told to be weak, controlled, and crushed under the men who want to tower over her. A woman must be incredibly powerful to keep her seat of power and not give in to the pressures of society telling her at every turn and achievement that she is lesser than. Women have so much strength and pure power, especially those who are able. When women react strongly to anything they are constantly being told to "calm down," that it's "not that big of a deal," that "you are overreacting," or "you're crazy" on a daily basis.

Hecate's power |
Many goddesses in Greek mythology have been told they are over reacting by those who fear their power, but none more than the woman who was labeled as evil because she was too powerful for the men around her who feared her more than Zeus himself. Hecate rebelled, she did not listen to those who would tell her to be lesser than, instead she thrived and grew more powerful, using their fear as a resource, not to be evil but to not let them take her down, as she knew her worth and was proud to bare her name, Hecate goddess of witchcraft.
